Is Goldrush a spray booth? NO. Goldrush is applied professionally by a technician, who can visibly ensure an even coverage to produce a perfect tan. A booth cannot do this. Is Goldrush an airbrush? NO. The Goldrush system is superior to the airbrush, It delivers a faster application, better coverage and dries as it is applied. How does the Goldrush tanning system work? The tanning solution(DHA) is professionally applied by a technician, using a low pressure soft spray system. The fine mist delivered by the spray gun ensures a perfectly even tan in minutes. What is DHA? DHA produces the long term tan. DHA is a colourless derivative of sugar cane that has ben FDA approved for over 30 years. DHA reacts with the superficial layer of the skin to form a natural looking tan. The skin begins to darken 2 to 3 hours after application and reaches it’s peak colour within 24 hours. How does the Goldrush tanning solution work? This formula is made up of two key tanning agents. Instant bronzer- will give an instant tan result. DHA- This ingredient gives you the long term tan. The skin begins to darken 2 to 3 hours after application and reaches it’s peak colour after 24 hours. We recommend that the client should not shower for at least 8 hours after the treatment. For best results showering the following morning is recommended. Is it safe? Yes. Sunless tanning is a safe and proven method of obtaining a tan. The client is not exposed to any harmful UVA or UVB rays, which can damage the skin and cause premature ageing. As with any cosmetic product a sensitivity can occur, but is very rare The ingredient DHA is found in virtually all tanning products and has been used since the 1960s. If you are pregnant, or suffer from any skin allergies or skin conditions please check with your doctor first. If you have had any previous reactions to self tanning products a patch test can be carried out, to test for possible reactions. All of the components in Goldrush solution have been used in cosmetic and food products for decades. These components have been approved for use on the skin and are considered safe. Is it suitable for all skin types? Yes. Even fair complexions that have never been able to tan before. I freckle in the sun. Will Goldrush cause more freckles to occur? No. In fact, freckles and blemishes will become less visible. Does it have an unpleasant smell? It has virtually no smell at all, unlike other self tanning formulations. I have hair on my legs and arms. Will the tan be uneven? No. The mist can pass the hair to achieve the same even tan. How long does a tanning application take?. A full body application takes 5 to 10 minutes. A top up takes 2 minutes. How long will it last?. You can expect your goldrush tan to last for up to seven days. Will I get a better tan if I tan twice in the same day?. No. Tanning back to back does not give the DHA to set between tans. Waiting 24 hours is recommended.
